U-Pick Details
Saturday & Sunday
9am – 4pm (Last car in at 3:00)
Picking depends on weather and crop availability, so please check our phone message or social media for any updates before you visit.
Pricing:
We currently do not take credit cards or cash apps, an ATM will be on premises.
We do not pre-sell tickets – your field/wagon tickets can be purchased at the ticket tent upon entry
Wagon/Feild fee $5.00 per person Children under 2 free
Berries – $4 per lb.
The activity area including the Jumbo Jumper will be available for the kiddos, please ask for details upon arrival.
Food:
**No outside food or drink, Snyder’s grill will be open with food, drinks, homemade ice cream, lemonade and more.
Other food vendors will be available- check social media for updates.
Picnic tables are available to sit and eat at.
Market:
**Pre picked berries, seasonal produce, eggs, jar goods and our local honey will be available at our outdoor market.
****Picking field etiquette:
Watch the weather and wear appropriate footwear, hat ,sunscreen etc..
*For your safety Please always watch your footing on the property, there are rocks, sticks, holes, and uneven ground.
*Absolutely NO throwing fruit, sticks, rocks etc.
*We do not allow large bags in the picking field.
*Please do not leave children unattended.
**Please only pick what you intend to purchase.
*Fruits and vegetables should be washed before consumed.
*Berries need to be paid for before eating.
****Frequently asked questions:
Are strollers allowed in the U-Pick strawberry field?
Yes, we will also help you get your stroller on and off the wagon if needed. (under carriage baskets will be checked upon exit of the picking field)
Do you allow pets?
No.
How long does strawberry season last?
About 3 to 4 weeks depending on weather, crop and how much folks pick.
Do you have animals?
We have 2 very friendly sheep, their names are Skippy and Dandelion.
(Please do not feed them, they are on strict diets) Please use hand sanitizer after you pet them, it is located on their barn near the fence)
Do I need to pay an entry fee for my children too?
Yes, however we do not charge a field fee for children under 2.
Do we need to bring containers for picking?
No, we supply complementary quarts for you to put your berries in.
We also sell boxes at $2 each which will allow you to pick more if you wish.
You can bring your own container but know that we will need to empty them into one of our boxes to weigh them, then put them back into your container after payment.
How many pounds of berries do your containers hold?
Our complementary quart containers hold about 1 lb. of berries if you do not over fill it.
Do we need to take the wagon ride to the picking field?
Yes, we are a working farm and cannot have folks walking through the planted fields.
Do you have a smoking area?
No, smoking is prohibited anywhere on the property.
